With a Grateful Prayer and a Thankful Heart: just suppose

just suppose

I heard this poem while listening to Alistair Begg and thought it a great reminder to myself to be careful about my words.
May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Psalm 19:14

What a great poem and a perfect reminder to do just that. How quickly we speak sometimes, and much we can regret. Oh our tongues how impossible they are to control. Enjoy your day! Oh, and just caught the previous post...happy birthday to that man of yours. Sounded like the perfect day to me!

That is a wonderful poem and I too need to learn to be more careful.

Allistair Beggs is such a fabulous preacher! Love him! I believe I will print this poem out so I can be reminded of it's impact on a daily basis! Thank you for sharing it!

So very true. It's not necessary (nor is it a 'right') to say every last thing that one thinks. Thanks for the reminder.

What a lovely poem of truth.

I am working on staying in the moment and now I am going to add being cautious about what I say.

Thank you,

I love listening to Alistair Begg when I can. I am sharing this little poem with our Bible study group. We are currently studying how changing our words can change our life.

My Grandmother would say, "Less said, least mended." We do have to be careful with our words. Seems like today though, there is so much wrong that we should speak out against.
