What to do when you have a recipe fail? My intention was to make some amazing brownie bites that our friend, Kathleen brought to our end-of-year Bible study. She told me she followed a recipe from her granddaughter and it sounded super simple. I'm not sure what went wrong but I had a problem on my hands.
This is what happened. These babies were not coming out of the pan no way, no how. I needed to think of serving this mess in a more appetizing way.
Whilst the pans soaked, I grabbed a box of pudding mix from the pantry and a container of whipped topping from the freezer.
Layering the pieces of brownie with the pudding and whipped cream made a dessert that looked intentional and much prettier! And only you and I know about the recipe fail.
Topped with little red, white and blue star sprinkles creates a patriotic themed dessert. For other holidays or occasions, sprinkle with different shapes and colors.
