Was there a Scripture verse, a song, a quote, a poem or an encouraging word that came your way and caused you to pause.
I'd love for you to share.

Reader Problems?

Does this happen to anyone else?

I will have a feeling that I am not seeing all of the blog posts I follow in my Google Reader and then suddenly I will have a full reader with posts from hours to days ago.  I read all of the new posts this morning and then, a short time later, there were 206 posts, some as old as 9 days.  A few have already come through my reader but the others I have not yet seen.

This is not a new problem and has been happening for months now. Totally frustrating! If I haven't been by to visit with you, this is why.
I still have 65 more posts and it is already back to April 26th

Raspberry Frosted Sweetheart Chocolate Cupcakes for My Sweethearts

Ella (I'm her caregiver) was excited to bring her Disney Princess Cupcakes and more cookbook to show me and she promptly picked out something for us to bake together. Little did we know when making them that my daughter, Jamie and her family would be spending the day with us.

A Peek into Their Lively World

I took all of these photos from my daughters fb page because they all melt my heart and capture moments of  their life

and these last three really warm my heart

I imagine their life can seem a little blurred at times :)

Apple Pear Crisp or Apple Blueberry Crisp

I can't think of any dessert that is more comforting than a fruit crisp. The fabulous crumbly topping covering sweet bubbly fruit is near perfection with or without a scoop of vanilla ice cream.  This recipe combines two different fruit and I have made substitutions.
