Birthday Outing with Silas

We were finally able to take Silas out to celebrate his 6th birthday that was back in May.
We went to a Camden Riversharks Baseball game at Campbell's Field at the base of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge.
Here at The Camden Waterfront just across the river from Philadelphia, Silas clenches his Finley.
A ride on the carousel and a hug from Skeeter
Though he doesn't look it, Jared had a great time too.
Sweet guy was at a sleepover the night before and hadn't slept for over thirty hours but was still cheerful and kind.  He dozed in the car then came alert a bit after this :)

We had had seats right in the center just behind the dugout but when the sun came out from behind the clouds it got pretty hot.  We moved to higher, shadier seats with an occasional breeze that was better.
View of the Ben Franklin Bridge heading into Philly
After the game there was a firework display

What a adorable little Grandson! The older one is good looking too--it always takes my kids several days to get over a sleep over:) Your photos are beautiful--love the one of the bridge. :)

Silas and Jared are handsome young men. Nothing like celebrating a birthday at a baseball game. Fun times and sweet memories!

Good morning! Now how cute are they? What a perfect way to spend a summer evening and a birthday celebration. We live about 15 minutes from Angel stadium. We need to get to get a game before summer is over! Hope you have a good day!

What a wonderful birthday celebration for Silas, and it is obvious that he had a super time! The photo fo Jared reminds me of our grandson Jack after a sleepover; tired but still the great boys they are. You have more sweet memories of your time with them, photographed and ready to look over.

Looks like Silas had a fabulous birthday celebration. Can't go wrong with boys and baseball. The bridge at night is spectacular. Don't know how you got those beautiful shots of the fireworks -- even my good camera just makes them a blur. Hope your week is a good one. Tammy
