Think on These Things #14 ~ Psalm 91

After completing the book, Living the Cross Centered Life by C.J. Mahaney, our community group Bible study is finishing the year studying Psalm 91.
It is a beautiful Psalm and I am sharing each verse with a photo of a blossom from my garden this spring.

~~
Has God impressed on your heart something special this week?
Was there a Scripture verse, a song, a quote, a poem or an encouraging word that came your way and caused you to pause.
I'd love for you to share.

Here's how:

Hi Lorraine,
Thanks for hosting this blog, I have met some wonderful people and been inspired.
Your psalm is timely for me...on another blog, without remembering that the thought was in this psalm, I used it in a comment. It was a blessing to know, from reading it here so soon afterward, that I had said the right thing.
I think you have a lovely yard to go with your lovely house, and that your photography skills have improved by leaps and bounds!
Many blessings!

The cards you made with the verses are absolutely beautiful. You should print them out and offer them for sale as note cards. Joined again this week! Thank you!

You shared the psalm so beautifully and creatively. Certainly as each verse is separate and so written in such a beautiful font along with the gorgeous flowers, one can pause and meditate on each thought! I know it was a lot of work, but thank you for the blessing today!

Oh, Lorraine, your photos are just beautiful, and the pairing of them with Psalm 91 is a breathe of fresh air for me this morning, giving me refreshment for my soul. I am passing on sharing for a few weeks, but I do so love coming to see what you and the others have to share with us to think upon. The Lord has blessed me greatly with this weekly meme ~ thank you for sharing the gift of encouragement God has given you.

Every picture is beautiful and stunning. I love that you used each bloom to display a verse. Love everything about it. The first verse has special meaning to me. My word for the year is "Dwell." I reference Psalm 27:4. Thank you for sharing.

These are so beautiful Lorraine. Would it be okay if I printed these out to use as scripture memory cards?
I'd love to keep them on my nightstand and read them each morning and night.
