AJ is A-OK

Can't say I read Race Pages magazine frequently (or ever), but this issue really held my interest.

The bottom right corner of the cover is the reason...
There is a four page article about AJ (Jared's daddy) and his love of drag racing.
 AJ in his 98' Mustang
Click each photo to enlarge.  Above photo is AJ and Erin (our oldest daughter) and dog Cede.

AJ showing John his 89' Mustang back in 2002.
This was his street car and we could hear the rumble long before he turned onto our street!
Looks like a love for racing began as a little guy!

AJ is way more than A-OK in our book...
we love him to pieces!

It's in their blood, isn't it? That love of cars and racing and speed. The rush. He looks like a great guy and I am sure you are more than proud of him. Hugs-Diana

Glad he is OK. Nice article, sounds like he's good with cars all the way around. Love the mustang. My husband's first car was a red mustang....88 or 89 I think.

I don't know anything about drag racing but that is a great tribute to your SIL to be featured like that!

Wow! That is a great feature story. One of my uncles on my dad's side restores cars, mostly vintage, classic cars and has restored some for Jay Leno and other celebs. And I love looking at them. Watching a race would be exciting, especially if we knew the driver.

I love the last photo! Too cute :o)

Blessings & Aloha!
Thank you so much for your sweet comment. We are definitely thankful that that part of our lives is in the past!

Congrats to AJ on the 4-page spread. Love those tube socks in the last photo - my dad and brother used to wear those but both my boys in this day and age will ONLY wear ankle socks. :/ Have a terrific Friday! Tammy :)

My husband (the Ford man) and I stood here reading this post this evening. We both found it so interesting. It must have been so much fun to you and your family to have this article published and to have be related to these two. My husband could relate to hearing the mustang coming up the street. He drove a Ford Boss 302 when we were dating and we both remembered that sound. Great post!
