Nor'easter

outside last night...
Advice is like snow - the softer it falls, the longer it dwells upon, and the deeper it sinks into the mind.
Samuel Taylor Coleridge
As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55:10-11
"Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
Isaiah 1:18
He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth'
Job 37:6

It looks so pretty. We are still in the midst of a blizzard that is looking like it will last almost 24 hours. Lots and lots of snow and winds gusting up to 70 miles per hour!
I love snow!

How pretty your home looks in the snow! It's gorgeous. Love that first saying and I've just realized how true it is! Loved the scriptures you've chosen too.
Now your little Schnauzer is just adorable! I'm a little partial to mini Schnauzers! ;)
Be a sweetie,

Hello LDH...We are swamped with snow here, too! Your evening photos are lovely. Every time I see Raider, I'm so happy he survived that horrible bee episode. Take care and stay warm and cozy. I'm about ready to go and guess what? Shovel! Susan

Oh, I think you should use that first photo for next years Christmas Cards it is so beautiful!
Thank you once again, for the beautiful German Star ornaments ~ we are enjoying them so on our tree! (Our tree this year is inspired by nature ~ only decorated with things found in nature ~ snowflakes, icicles, pine cones, pheasant feathers, etc.
So fun to see Raider feeling his old self again. That was such a scary incident!
Wish we had a smidge of your snow! We did have some at Thanksgiving but it would have been fun to have some at Christmas.
Hope you can enjoy yours safely!
Blessings!

Beautiful photos--the black and white and sepia is very effective... the wicker is a fun contrast with the snow... wicker brings summer to mind-not winter! Stay warm!
