Thankful for Family!

Early morning helpers preparing the 22-pound turkey while watching the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade on the laptop Pop-Pop set up in the kitchen.
We even had a period of large white snowflakes fall from the sky to add to the festivities inside.

Everyone but Erin and her family were able to be together this day.
Extra special to have our Spanish guest, Aldara, join our family!

Too many little ones to be in the dining room now-a-days.
But they didn't mind at all.

Our family always holds hands while giving thanks for our blessings
Brenna requested a turkey leg days ago.  I think her eyes were bigger than her stomach!

Honestly LDH, those grandchildren are absolutely gorgeous. Your table looked lovely and everyone looked very, very happy.

Wherever did you find lilies of the valley for the table? Wowsers. They are usually out only in spring!

Soooooooo happy you all had a lovely holiday. It was great here, too. Take care. Susan

What a beautiful and fun-loving family you have. So glad you had a great Thanksgiving. No snow for us here in Alabama yesterday. We had temps in the 70's, but rain is ushering in cold weather for us today. Hope you have a great weekend!

So many things to enjoy here....the cool font that looks like a kid's writing; kids holding hands at a separate table; the funny face picture--what a great way to loosen everybody up; the turkey leg--a bit overwhelming; and the gorgeous table--what a spread!
