A very happy birthday to your dad. He was just a couple years older than my dad. I love that quote too, one of my favorites

I am going through my blog roll this morning and found this post.

Ironically, it is MY Dad's 74th birthday. He just left this morning after vising me here (out of state) for a week. I am so grateful he was here for his birthday week. I cherish every moment i can spend with my Mom & Dad.

I love the quote you posted (I had never heard this one).

I hope your day is full of happy memories of your wonderful Dad.

thanks for sharing today,

Cori

Nothing like a father's love.

God Bless him! My dad died when I was a teen, he was just 50. But the good memories can never be taken away. Not everyone has good memories of their parents, so we are blessed!

Thank you for honoring your father. There are few things better than being a "daddy's girl." Missing mine too...

A Beautifu post . My Dad was taken way too young in a car accident in the fog. He has been gone sixteen years in December.
