With a Grateful Prayer and a Thankful Heart: Raider is Home!

Raider is Home!

My little guy made it!
(see previous two posts about our honeybee encounter)
The Vet said after she saw Raider, she went home and looked up bee stings and the number of stings per pound of body weight and thought, no way was Raider going to survive.  Organ collapse, anemia and she went on to list some terrible situations.  But this morning his urine is yellow, he is eating and in her words, "Praise God, he is doing good".
We brought him home with a lots of pain medication and wait for him to get all better.
 Wow... was this weekend real?
Raider and I thank you all for all those prayers, concerns and words of encouragement! And we thank God for hearing our prayers and petitions.
I have a Grateful Prayer and a Thankful Heart!

Praise the Lord! I'm crying happy tears today! My hubby and I were praying, as was my mom, sister and my best friend! I can't wait to tell them all that our prayers were answered and your precious little boy is home with you! I hope your poor grandson is doing better today too, and you with all your bee stings! Praise the Lord neither of you had a reaction! I know my hubby would have been in the hospital with all of those bee stings!

Have a lovely, relaxing Sunday!

I told you that if God listens to Pet Prayers Raider was going to make it. I am sooo glad he is home and recovering. Now we just have to pray that the pain subsides and he is up and running around in a short time.. Hugs- Diana

Tears in my eyes. Praying Raider continues to gain strength. Events like this have a way of changing us, at least they do me. We see life more clearly, and appreciate the ordinary days as the true gift they really are.

We are celebrating at our house! Over lunch today after church I shared Raider's story with my dear, little mother and my sweetheart. And then to come home and find out that he is home was great news. He's a fighter - and I'm sure it won't be long before he's up and out and ready to be himself.

I didn't read this until just now but am rejoicing that your precious boy is at home and doing well.

Any idea what would cause bees to swarm on him like that?

I'm also glad that you and your grandson weren't seriously hurt.

Oh...And I'm so glad you changed your comments to the pop up box because it makes it *much easier* to leave you a comment.---With the pop up box you don't have to wait until the page reloads. (o:
