Community Group

This is the group of dear folks that make up our Community Group.
(The lady in the red jacket is a visitor)
We meet each Wednesday evening for a time of fellowship,
Bible study and finish with prayer time.
Some of us have been together for almost 15 years!
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
1 Thessalonians 5:11

With busy summertime schedules, we take a break through the summer.
But we still see each other at church and at other times.

This is a photo of our end-of-year barbecue taken last week.

Joining Susan @A Southern Daydreamer for Outdoor Wednesday!

Such a beautiful photo of people who love GOD and each other. I'm sure there have been great memories over the years together. When my husband and I were Care Group Leaders at our church back in VA we created such bonds with the people on Wednesday nights in our home. Those memories linger on.

Praying blessings for all of you and great summer!

Greetings Mrs. LDH!
I am new to blogland and just came across your blog while surfing about. I am in awe of your beautiful blog, you must be like the "Fairy Blog Mother" or something, because you have totally charmed me with your gorgeous family pictures and...those recepies...are to D-I-E for(and I don't even know how to cook) but you sure have inspired me to start...glad you posted pictures so I can see what it's SUPPOSED to look like LOL! And the "icing on the cake" is that you're a woman after GODs heart. What more could a reader possibly ask for. Know that I will be visiting your site often and looking forward to your posts.

In His Love,

Irma

Since my husband and I made the heart wrenching decision to leave our congregation of over 25 years - we have been missing this aspect of fellowship, so desperately. I have found over the years it is in those groups of people where the family love really is found.

You are truly blessed!

Loved seeing your posting, ldh...we have a similar group of 11 - five couples and 1 widower. We try to meet twice a month between all our collective travels! We just finished John and are starting Nehemiah next week. I will have to bring my digital camera next week to capture our group...Cassandra ♥
