With a Grateful Prayer and a Thankful Heart: Outdoor Wednesday

Outdoor Wednesday

Pretty flowers on every table.
That's what greeted us Tuesday morning at Chick-fil-A.
With a coupon for free chicken minis, John and I had breakfast together.
Then, I dropped him off at work and headed to the grocery store.
What a nice way to start the day!

On the way home I pulled into a car dealership to take a picture of
their enormous American flag filling the cloudy sky.
It just stirs my heart every time I pass by.

I love that the manager of chick fil a went out of his/her way to make the place a little more special. I also really like the texture that you used in the flag pics. What editing program do you use?

That's a beautiful picture of the flag against the sky.

Daily I think of the service men and woman who serve our country and thank them. Each time I see our American Flag flying in blue skies goose bumps appear up and down my arms. I get all ting-a-l-y inside. Nice post this week.

I love to see the flag waving in the breeze. I was born on Flag Day ~ my mother told me that on my fifth birthday I noticed all the flags put out by the neighbors....I thought they were celebrating my birthday!

Yum - chicken minis! How nice to find fresh flowers on the table too!

I recently saw an old interview with the Chick-fil-A founder, Colonel Sanders, and the founder of Carl's Jr. They're all believers!

Happy Wednesday!

I enjoy eating at Chick-fil-A, but they have never blessed us with lovely flowers like this. You did a super job on the flag photos.
