Mosaic Monday ~ Chicks

I wanted to get down to my daughter, Erin's home to see the baby chicks when she first got them and they were soft yellow puff balls. They are a little older now but still kind of cute.

Not so easy getting pictures of these gangly, in between chick-and-chicken, future egg layers. They are living in a large rubbermaid container under lights until they are a bit older and ready to move outside and into their new chicken coop.

Visit Mary @Little Red House for more Mosaic Monday!

Oh, I will have to show your mosaic to my granddaughter the next time she is here! You captured them so well, considering how active they must be. Your photography is always such a pleasure to see.
Blessings to you,
Laurie

Oh, they ARE cute, LDH. I remember the baby chicks in my Granma's kitchen, near the old woodstove, in a box. Wow, that brought back SWEET memories. Sincerely, Susan

My mother is still terrified of hens and roosters from her girlhood experiences of gathering eggs from the nesting boxes in the coop.

Well captured! They look as soft and downy as they must feel - the perfect shade of yellow for Easter!
