Show And Tell Friday ~ Yep... More Snow Pictures

For those sick of winter, these pictures won't inspire. But I am enjoying every flake! And in August when I am complaining of the heat and humidity these scenes will be just a memory.
The above picture was taken last night with just the light from the porch. It's a little fuzzy but more how it actually looked. Kind of a dreamy feeling.
Such a different look with the flash, but still cool.
Abbey laughs at her dads snowsuit but it sure keeps a body warm.
This morning... very cold and bright sun.
Although I didn't want to disturb the pristine surface of the snow, I tried walking out a bit to get a picture of my boxwood hedge. The snow was knee deep and my boots are too low to keep the snow out. We brushed away the snow after the last storm but this snow has all of the tree branches bent low. I dread the damage that may have occurred.
Our side yard on the north. The arborvitae on the left are our neighbors and they are so heavy with snow.
sad pup... "I wanna go in."
Imagine... in a few months this Eastern Redbud will be full of tiny pink blossoms!

Do you think my hydrangea and hosta plants are okay under all of that snow?
Raider wants you to visit Cindy @My Romantic Home for more Show & Tell Friday posts!

Thank you for enjoying every flake! So many people are grumbling about the snow and it makes me sad because I am a snow LOVER!

Wow that is a lot of snow. We are forecasted to get a little tomorrow. Nothing like you get. I wish just one time it would do more than the little bit we get. I just think it is beautiful to look at. Everything looks so fresh and clean when it has newly fallen.

It is beautiful when you do not have to go out in it. I am from Buffalo NY and we had our share...Blizzard of 77, I was just a kid and will never forget how much fun I had. I think we where out of school for a week!!~ It's almost over so you have that on your side!~ Pretty pics for sure!

OH gosh I have to say those pictures are beautiful. I have not seen that much snow since 1980 when we were in living in Virginia. The trees with the snow, and fresh powder just does look magical. However, I know it is anything but when one has to shovel, travel. Stay safe and warm.

What beautiful pictures of the snow. I miss snow. Living in Myrtle Beach we don't get snow........maybe a few flakes but it melts fast....I use to live in Kentucky and we got some snow there. Did I say I miss snow....LOL

Even though I usually see a lot of snow every winter (not this year so far, though!), I a;ways love to see fresh snow. :)

The very best kind of snow! So pretty!
I'd keep that picture of the Eastern Redbud in a folder and follow that one thru the seasons. What a great collage that would make taking pictures of it from the same place in each season!

I never tire of snow images. Our last snow was the type that lay gently on the branches....beautiful. Hope your weekend is grand with your Valentine!

In the south, we experienced 6 inches of the wonderful snow...and loved it; it was beautiful! Thanks for sharing your beautiful scenery!

It sure looks pretty but I am not a fan of snow and will take the heat any day because walking in snow is not easy when you are a Klutz like me:) I agree with your little dog with his sweet look that says LET ME IN ALREADY. When I lived in the NE I use to spray my little dogs feet with PAM (Cooking spray) so that the snow would stick to his paws. It does work but it gives you tiny greasy paw prints on your floors. My dog then loved licking his paws when I used the butter flavored Pam spray:) Happy Valentine's day!

Wow all I can say is WOW!! that is so much snow hehehe...Hopefully your enjoying it and you may want to go out and get some cute rainboots now lol!! Ugh maybe it's cause I have dogs but all I am thinking about for you is the mud when all that melts lol!! It sure is pretty though. And your dogs sweater is soooo cute!!!! ~Praying you have a wonderful and peaceful Valentines weekend with your family and that your cup runneth over from the abundance of Love that the Lord showers on you ~Blessings Love Heather

I did so enjoy my visit! Your photos are absolutely gorgeous! I took pictures also but they were not nearly so nice as yours! Thanks for sharing them. Today I linked to a post from last year and saw that you had left a comment. I don't know if I ever came over to see you since then, but I sure hope to be back. Visit me again anytime and thanks for coming.
And Raider is soooo cute. My dog had the same look on his face every time he went outside: "I want to come back in." Blessings to you and yours as we all "weather out" the rest of this winter!

WOW...now that's some snow! Sure is pretty though. Raider is like my Fritzy...out, then right back to the door. Shaking all the way.

Well I am sick of snow but somehow it looks much prettier in your pictures than it does here in real life...lol
Raider looks adorable in the sweater and I don't blame him at all for wanting to get back inside.

You have captured these snowy scenes perfectly; I particularly like the first one, so beautiful! It will be fun to see the contrast of the Eastern Redbud in a few months. Raider is quite "fetching" in his sweater!
Blessings,
Laurie
