Sepia Scenes

This bench picture was taken in my daughters front yard.
At first glance, it looks like foaming ocean waves in the background.
But it is just the remnants of snow covering a lawn.
This is the front of her house. I like the reflection of the sun. Usually there are faces of children smooched against the window panes, watching out as we drive up to the house.
On closer inspection, I see the back of a little boys head. Can you find him?
Joining Mary T for her fun Sepia Scenes!

What lovely photos. I'm especially fond of the one with the sun reflecting on the windows. You've done a great job. Have a wonderful day.

Lovely in sepia!

The tide does appear to inching closer and closer to the bench...The sepia sun is not an orb with glare, merely a light bronze sun in the window. The subtle sepia is soft, a nice look on a winter's day!

ha! ldh, at first I didn't see any head in the windows. Then I clicked and made the photo larger and there he was-----one of your sweet little boy grandchildren! Thanks for sharing. Sincerely, Susan from writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com

The picture with the bench looks so peaceful. I would very much like to sit there in the sun. I love the reflection in the window!

Although I had enlarged the picture, I still couldn't see the little boy's head. Perhaps too late to see... it's 2:52 a.m. Malaysian time. I shall have to give it up and get some sleep.

Great shots.

Hi Lorraine, That really does look like the ocean! So cute the way you describe the little ones glued to the window watching as you approach the house. What joyful blessings they are.

LDH, two great photos for Sepia Scenes! I just love benches anytime, in color, black and white or sepia! I see the little boy's head behind the left window (as I face it):)

I see a sweet little boy's head ~ and based on yesterday's post I'm going to guess it's Silas (I think!) : )

I love the bench photo and it definitely looks like it might be getting wet soon!

The solitary bench looks like it needs someone to take a seat. Nice light sepia tone.
I like the foamy waves description of old snow. We have a lot of that around here!
I made the photo bigger and saw the little head of your grandson. Lucky you to have nine grandchildren.

Have a nice Thursday ~
