~From The Christmas Album ~ Why Christmas Trees Are Not Perfect

My first From The Christmas Album post ~ hope you'll join in!
I saved this page from a 1981 Woman's Day Magazine.
It is very sweet story of sacrificial love.

Now it's your turn to share a special Christmas memory!
Whatever you like... no rules...
maybe a picture, craft, song, event...
just something you have tucked in your heart about Christmas !
Add your name to MckLinky!

From the Christmas Album
is posted each Wednesday for the month of December. I will try and post MckLinky by 8:00 EST on Tuesday the night before.

How to add your link:

1. Publish your From the Christmas Album post on your blog.

*Add a link back to my blog so other readers will know where to join in the fun.

*You are welcome to use my picture. Just copy and paste it on to your blog

2. Copy the "permalink" from from your From the Christmas Album post, not the link to the front page of your blog.

*Folks will be looking through these links all week long. If you link to your main page, it will be harder to find your From the Christmas Album post.

That's a sweet story. I really enjoyed reading that. We have a large brush pile on our lot which is unsightly to me, but we have fox, rabbit and birds that thrive in and around it. Your story reminds me very much of that. Thank you for the opportunity to join you each Wed. this month.

I love the whole idea of your Christmas book. I'm going to make one for my pastor's wife this year. She loves reading Christmas stories and I know she'll love having them allin one spot. I have an album to cover in some pretty paper and I've been looking for some special stories to get her book started.
I know she'll add to it as she finds new ones and I'll be able to send her special ones I find in the future. Thanks for your inital post about this! I love a great idea!!

Love this story too!

PS. I just had to share the word verification that just came up as I was posting my reply.

"Cookably" ~ I think that's what you are. All the yummy recipes you share definitely make you a "cookably" person in my book! : )
