Outdoor Wednesday ~ Pesky Persistence

Yes, I know... last week my Outdoor Wednesday included another of these relentless rodents. But how does one dismiss such an inquisitive creature peering in at you so intently?

click pics to see close-up of this little rascals agility and antics.

Maybe he is asking why I make things difficult for him when we both know he is going to get what he wants ~ one way or another.
Quite the acrobat!
Thank you Susan, for hosting Outdoor Wednesday! A Southern Daydreamer. Visit her place to see lots more Outdoor Wednesday posts.

What a photogenic fellow! I don't think I've ever seen a grey squirrel with a brown head! But then, I don't see too many of them anyway ~ unless it's a dead one the cats bring in! But we do have raccoons that dump out all the seed from the bird feeders! Mamma and babies! It seems I feed the entire forest of critters here on the farm!
Beautiful pictures!

I suppose if you have these pests, no matter how cute, you would want to know how to keep them away from the bird houses, especially the hummingbirds. They love to swing on the chain.
When you get tired looking at them put vaseline
on the chains. This helps with ants coming to get the nectar ~ so may be worth a try for squirels too. You can't help but liking the little rascals.
