Olde Town Fall Festival

Abbey and I participated in our first Fall Festival & Craft Show today. Actually Abbey wasn't able to be there for her 1st Fall Festival & Craft Show because she forgot to request off from work and ended up scheduled from 10 am to 9 pm.
It was a long and interesting day... and my piggies are so sore right now I'm not sure I will be able to hobble away from sitting in front of the computer screen. (Sad plight, I know)
Lots of people and just a few sprinkles of rain.
And this tall guy that stopped by.
Just beginning to set-up.
Abbey's display. She just started a new business making silhouettes. I will blog more about these really neat silhouettes real soon.
A sight that always moves my heart!
Yellow Ribbon Club.

My helper.
My helper being bored and wishing it was time to go home.
This behavior began at 11 o'clock AM (sigh)
This is the beautiful house behind our spot.
The house across the street. There is a brass plate in the brick walk in front of this house telling that it was built in 1892.
Originally a Drug Store, this building at the corner of West Main Street and Maple dates to 1835.
Round 2 next Saturday. Abbey and I will be participating in a juried show. We are not sure we will continue the craft show circuit but it was a fun, though tiring experience.

I love your and Abbey's booth! I once did craft shows with cross stitch items. Lots of fun and met interesting people. It does make for some long and tiring days. Hope you rest well tonight.

Oh yes, I've done those craft shows, sometimes they are fun, but often the sore feet and boredom do not compensate for the buzz of selling something you have made. Your stall looks great, the sillouettes look interesting, looking forward to seeing more about them.

Your booth was very nice--as usual, you work is such high quality. Nice area you live in... I felt sorry for your grandson, probaby didn't like being around 'girly' stuff.
