Tiny Surprise

rainy and cool again this morning as I walked my dog...
couldn't pass by without a sniff of the sweetest fragrance...
and look what I found...
a tiny lilac shoot with two lovely blooms coming right from the ground...
under this giant of perfume.

Oh! That makes me swoon! I absolutely love lilacs. Gentleman Farmer and I are going to some lilac gardens this next week to enjoy all they have to offer! Thanks for the lovely preview!
Blessings!

Lilacs are one of my favorites. My bushes don't even have leaves yet.

Oh, they're one of my favorites along with violets and hyacinths. And you could put forget-me-nots on my list too. And sunflowers.

One of the prettiest smells for me is fresh lilacs. And nothing else can substitute that smell, no candle comes close. Only the fresh ones for this girl please! Enjoyed your pictures. I need to ask Hubby about the man you mentioned! Funny how close you are to him...closer than me!!!

How beautiful. Lilac is very invasive though, be careful as to how close to your house it is growing as it's roots run deep and far! Great scent though.
