A Cute But Noisy Schnauzer

A cute little guy with the softest fur! This sweet face belies the nasty greeting of barking and snorting everyone who comes to the door receives. Once "intruders" are inside for a few minutes, he is quick to offer a stuffed animal to play with and a friendly demeanor. He's as gentle as can be with the grandchildren and babies ~ but very protective. I love him to pieces, but wish he didn't bark at every human and dog he sees.

This furry tangle is currently at the groomers. I prefer his locks long and curly cause he's just so snuggley. Sadly, he tends to get pretty matted ~ so clipping is needed. I'll be heading back to pick him up shortly.

HI, I saw your comment on HOPE's blog and had to come check out your Schnauzer. I have one too. You could have been describing our Libby. She's a big barker, but boy she'll roll over quick and let you rub her belly.
I'll try and post a link of a post I did on her. She is a rescue dog that we got 4 years ago. She's been lots of fun.

Hi Joy ~ thanks for stopping by. No, I guess I didn't set up Mr. Linky the right way. But I did get to "meet" Libby and her cousins. She's a cutie! Very nice blog you have. I got a chuckle from the Sleepy heads at Thanksgiving :) I'll be sure to stop by again for another visit!

We once had a dog that barked at every human that passed by whether she was inside, outside or in the car! She was a cream terri-poo about 22 pounds and as gentle as could be with everyone and we miss her but *not* the incessant barking ...

Your mosaic of your cutie is great ~ he's a beautiful dog and I know all about being matted unless groomed regularly :o)

Blessings!

Oh my..I just can't get enough of these cute photos! He is precious! Reminds me so much of my Heidi that passed away last year. She was a salt and pepper Mini. Gus has turned into a Standard by some means! LOL. You have just about described Gus to a T. One big teddy bear of a dog.

Thanks for sharing...just too cute and putting smiles on all who see this I'm sure.
